Crown Place Birmingham

Attempted to redesign by widening the planning permission envelope to achieve 725 beds but not increasing the height. The Birmingham planning department were not happy with us widening the building, but they did request that we increase the height by 7 storeys to 33 storeys enabling us to design 814 bedspaces. Planning permission was approved for 814 bedspaces from Birmingham planning department on first attempt. New Build – 814 student beds with extensive social space. 572 studios, 128 duplex cluster beds, 114 cluster beds. Social space 695 sqm.
